Chinese smartphone maker Realme on Wednesday (November 5, 2025) announced its new operating skin, Realme UI 7.0, based on Android 16. The update will debut on the company’s upcoming flagship, the Realme GT 8 Pro, and will also roll out to the Realme GT 7 Pro starting in November.
Realme has also shared the UI 7.0 rollout roadmap for other compatible devices, scheduled across Q4 2025 and Q1 2026.
According to the company, Realme UI 7.0 represents “a leap forward in intelligence, personalisation, and smoothness.” The new interface features a light glass design that enhances transparency, depth, and fluidity, along with fresh visual components such as Ice Cube Icons, a Misty Glass Control Center, and a Breathing Dock.

The update introduces the Flux Theme 2.0, offering large-text themes, a panoramic always-on display, and support for Live Photos and video wallpapers with an AI-powered Dynamic Depth of Field effect to emphasise the main subject. Users can also personalise their devices further with custom fingerprint animations, interactive Flux Desktop icons (which can be resized and recoloured), as well as new widgets and lock screen styles.
A standout feature, the AI Notify Brief, will summarise non-urgent notifications into personalised morning and evening briefings. The AI-powered system also includes an AI Framing Master, which automatically identifies optimal photo framing.
