A retail box image that surfaced yesterday hinted that OnePlus is gearing up to launch a new smartphone in China — the OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max. Today, tipster Smart Pikachu shared fresh details on Weibo, revealing the phone’s RAM and storage configurations.
According to the leak, the OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max series is in development, suggesting that multiple models may be on the way. The tipster claims the device will feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The handset is expected to launch in Flash Black, Electric Purple, and Shadow Green color options.

The Vivo S50 Pro Mini is also rumored to feature the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC and could debut later this month. However, since the Ace 6 Pro Max may launch first, it could become the world’s first smartphone powered by the new chipset.
Recent reports suggest that the OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max (formerly known as the OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo) will sport a 6.7-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It is expected to pack an 8,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging and run ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.
In terms of cameras, the phone may feature a 32MP front camera and a dual rear setup consisting of a 50MP OIS-enabled primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. Other highlights reportedly include dual speakers, an X-axis linear motor, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, NFC, a metal middle frame, and a weight of around 216 grams.
Apart from the standard colors, OnePlus is also expected to release a special edition variant of the device.
