The wait for the 21st instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) Yojana is finally over. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the next 2,000 instalment to eligible farmers on November 19, 2025, during an event in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. According to the official update, nearly 18,000 crore will be transferred directly to farmers through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system. Over 9 crore PM-Kisan beneficiaries are scheduled to receive the payment at 1:00 PM, while the event will be livestreamed at 1:30 PM.
The government has reiterated that eKYC is mandatory for all PM Kisan beneficiaries. Farmers can complete eKYC through the PM Kisan portal using OTP verification, or visit the nearest CSC (Common Service Centre) or SSK (State Seva Kendra) for biometric authentication. eKYC can also be completed using face authentication on the PM Kisan Mobile App.
As per a PIB release dated November 14, more than 3.70 lakh crore has already been disbursed to over 11 crore farmer families across 20 instalments. To receive benefits, farmers must have their land records updated on the PM Kisan portal, Aadhaar-seeded bank accounts, and completed eKYC.

How to Check PM Kisan 21st Instalment Status (2025)?
Follow these steps to check your PM Kisan payment status:
- Visit the official PM-Kisan website.
- Go to the ‘Farmer’s Corner’ section on the homepage.
- Click on ‘Know Your Status’.
- Enter your registration number and captcha code.
- An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
- Enter the OTP to view the status of the 21st instalment.
How to Check the PM Kisan Beneficiary List?
To view the PM Kisan beneficiary list for your village:
- Visit the official PM Kisan portal.
- Go to ‘Farmer’s Corner’ and select ‘Beneficiary List’.
- Select your state, district, sub-district, block, and village.
- Click ‘Get Report’ to view the list of beneficiaries.
What to Do if Your PM Kisan Status Shows ‘Pending’?
If your instalment status shows as pending, it usually means certain formalities are incomplete. You may need to:
- Link your Aadhaar
- Update or verify your PAN
- Correct bank account details
- Complete eKYC
Once these updates are processed, your application will become eligible to receive PM Kisan payments.
