On Monday, OnePlus officially unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 15, in China, ahead of a likely global rollout in the coming weeks. The new model introduces a refreshed design with flat edges and a left-aligned camera module, resembling the OnePlus 13s more than its direct predecessor, the OnePlus 13.
Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, the OnePlus 15 packs a massive 7,300mAh battery, one of the largest ever seen in a flagship smartphone. Given the impressive endurance of the OnePlus 13’s smaller 6,000mAh cell, the new model could potentially deliver multi-day battery life. However, it remains unclear whether this large battery will be made available in international markets, as OnePlus has a history of offering different configurations across regions — for instance, the global OnePlus 13s featured a smaller battery than the China-specific OnePlus 13T.

The OnePlus 15 features a triple 50MP rear camera setup, including a 3.5x optical zoom telephoto lens, marking a slight upgrade from last year’s 3x zoom. Interestingly, the Hasselblad branding is absent this time, hinting that OnePlus may be moving toward in-house camera tuning.
On the front, the phone sports a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. While its resolution is lower than that of the OnePlus 13, the screen achieves a higher peak brightness of 1,800 nits for improved outdoor visibility.
In China, the OnePlus 15 is available for pre-order via Oppo’s official online store, priced at ¥4,899 (approximately $688). A global launch appears imminent, as OnePlus has already begun teasing the device on its UK website, where users can sign up for “coming soon” updates.
